Café am Platzl
Our family has run the Cafè am Platzl in the centre of Prato allo Stelvio since 1968. There you find fresh pastries and cakes from our in-house confectionary every day (except Thursday). We have roasted our coffee manually since 2013 and guarantee best quality and freshness.
No matter what you prefer, the assortment is big and our products are always made with love. In summer, when our sunny terrace is open, you can enjoy some homemade ice cream while looking at the village square.
Behind the term “Kuntrawant” don’t hide any regional fairy tales or mystic characters, it’s the name of a small Venostan coffee manufacture. Martin and his brother Josef founded a small roasting facility in the centre of Prato allo Stelvio. There they roast high-quality, traceable coffee of distinctive and unique taste.
